- Instagram has released a new feature in partnership with Spotify.
- You can now save any Instagram song to Spotify directly from within the Instagram app.
- Pre-requisite – you must link your Instagram and Spotify accounts.
Instagram has joined hands with Spotify to give users what they have been asking for a long time now. The ability to save music and songs found on Instagram directly to Spotify with a few taps. The two tech giants have decided to join hands in a new partnership.
Save Instagram Tracks to Spotify Directly
Instagram’s add to Spotify feature is rolling out as of now and I have received the update on my iPhone. Works on Android too but I couldn’t find it on the web app.
- Scroll Instagram normally and when you find a track or song you like, tap on the music icon at the bottom.
- Tap on the Add button with the Spotify icon.
- Tap on Link to Spotify button in the pop-up to connect Spotify to Instagram.
- Sign in to Spotify and then agree to the terms.
- The Spotify button will now show Added meaning the song is added to a Spotify playlist
Note: All songs that you save from Instagram are by default saved to the Liked Songs playlist.
Instagram has a billion users who add God knows how many songs and tracks to their reels on a daily basis. It is arguably the biggest platform to discover new tracks and music from famous and unknown indie artists. Every once in a while, you will stumble upon some tracks that you want to listen to later, save, or just know the name of. Spotify’s integration with Instagram makes this quick and easy.
