How to Find Darth Maul and Train as a Sith in Fortnite Galactic Battle
Similar to Mace Windu in Fortnite Galactic Battle, Darth Maul does not appear at the start of the match. You will need to wait until the first storm circle passes. After the first storm circle passes, you will be able to find him by following the steps below:
- Open your map and look for a red lightsaber icon.
- Only the first player to reach Darth Maul can complete the training, so make sure to get there quickly.
- Talk with him.
Since any place where Darth Maul is spotted will be a hotspot, do expect challenges from other players. But if you are winning against your enemies, then you are vengeful enough to start a Sith training.
How to Get the Red Apprentice Lightsaber in Fortnite Galactic Battle
Once you’ve found Darth Maul’s hologram:
- Interact with him and click the check mark icon to accept his Sith training.
- A portal will form, and your character will head into it.
- After a few classic Star Wars transitions, you’ll come out with the red Sith Apprentice Lightsaber.

The red Sith Apprentice Lightsaber’s special ability is Force Throw. To use it, you first need to equip the lightsaber and then hold the block button. While blocking, press the attack button and move your crosshair to your target. By using this ability, you will gather random things from the ground and throw them at the target. After each use, it goes on a 15-second cooldown, so use it strategically in combat.
